Kise joined the Sunflower Redevelopment team in January 2005 and helped complete the sale of the former Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant to private developers in August 2005. That sale was the culmination of a complicated 3-year-long negotiation between the Army and Sunflower Redevelopment.

Kise's focus is in laying the foundations for Johnson County 's last opportunity to build a �new town� on the 9,000 acre Sunflower property. She brings a master's degree in Public Administration from KU and more than 20-years in city management in Lawrence , Johnson County and Paola , Kansas to the task.
